Volunteers Needed

Architecture Canada | RAIC and the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Architects (NLAA) are looking for volunteers to work at the 2012 Festival of Architecture “Deep Roots in a New Energy City” in St. John’s, June 13 – 16, 2012, at the Delta St. John’s Hotel and Conference Centre.

Volunteer registration deadline: May 25, 2012

The RAIC and NLAA are looking for volunteers who:

• Can speak fluent English
• Are energetic and have a positive attitude
• Are responsible, reliable and resourceful
• Can attend a training session on June 12
• Can assume their own travel and accommodation expenses

You receive:

• Free entry to the continuing education courses and/or events to which you are assigned

  • Opening Reception
  • College of Fellows Convocation and Reception
  • Saturday Party
• A reference for your CV
• The opportunity to meet architects from all over

• A training session on June 12 (mandatory – time to be determined)

• A meal before or after your shift of 5 hours or more
